Terrible twos & fish

Okay, so the last time I updated Miranda had her doctor's appointment. She was diagnosed anemic and today was the first day I was able to give her the iron supplement. (A big *sarcastic* thanks to Walmart for that...) Hopefully by the end of the week we'll see if makes a change in her energy level or anything. I'll keep you all updated on that.

Saturday was opening day of fishing so I was husband-less all day. I did some cleaning of the house and then went over to Mike and Nicki's to help do some packing and what not. As a spur of the moment decision we ended up going to a Rock Cats game that night. Miranda came with us and we all had a blast. She was a bit fidgety but not too bad. She really liked the people in mascot costumes. Adam bought us all the food we wanted and even a little pink baseball for Miranda to get signed by the aforementioned costumed people. Afterwords they had a fantastic firework display. Gotta love that.

Sunday was more laid back and relaxing. We did a lot of cleaning and a lot of laundry. That was satisfying. After Miranda's nap we drove out to Walmart to pick up a few items. Dinner at a Chinese Buffet.

Monday was a fairly easy day at work. I decided to buy a fish tank so I bought that and got it all set up at home. Today I bought the fish. So far 1 tetra is dead and the other two don't look so good. : /

Miranda was REALLY grumpy today. It seemed like she was throwing a temper tantrum over EVERYTHING. I guess this is what the terrible twos look like. Yuck....At My Gym class I felt like the worst parent in the world. Definitely going to re-read my parenting books. I'm doing something wrong for sure.

Okay, I'm tired. Good night.

You are NOT the worst parent... it's this lovely age... this too shall pass. Isn't it funny how they can go from loving to grumpy in a nano-second??
As for the fish, we were told to set up our tank and leave it for a week then add fish. I hope that your new fishies make it but if not, Beta's are great!!!! Ours is pretty indestructible (I forget to feed it for days at a time and he's happily swimming around) and really pretty to watch. You can't have any other fish in there though as he will attack them.
