I've been feeling so overwhelmed lately. Miranda's whining and tantrums are OUT of CONTROL. I feel like the worst mother in the world because I can't handle my own daughter.
For example: Tuesday nights we do My Gym classes. Usually we get there a little early and end up having to walk around the CVS next door for a little while. Miranda had spilled her juice all over herself while in the car and was soaking wet so I was trying to find her a t-shirt to put on. Anytime I say "Come on Miranda, let's go this way." She THROWS herself on the floor SCREAMING at the top of her lungs. "NO!!" I get so frazzled and overwhelmed. People are staring at me like I'm killing her and I'm no where near her! I try to pick her up and she goes limp which makes it looks like I'm hurting when I'm not trying to! I walk away and try to calm down but the more she screams the more upset I get.
To top it off, when we go to gym class, if I try to structure her in anyway and get her to follow along with the class than the screaming, crying and tantrums begin again. She's the ONLY child to throw tantrums and scream there and she does it CONSTANTLY EVERY SINGLE CLASS. I'm thinking about giving them up because the hassle just doesn't seem worth it to me.
I honestly don't know how to fix this and the more it happens the worse I feel. Does anyone else ever feel like this??? Please tell me I'm not alone!

Oh, honey. You are definitely not alone. I could never let Bella walk through a store these days bc she has her own little mind and the tantrums will ensue if she can't follow her own will. As for MyGym, I say just let her blow off the steam. It could be that evening/night classes are the wrong time for her bc she's tired. I take Bella to gymnastics in the morning bc that's when she's in the best mood.
But I promise you that other moms aren't eyeballing you. They probably wish they could help - bc we've ALL been there before!
You aren't alone...I promise!!! Hannah has yet to throw a full-blown tantrum in public, but she does every time I try to chnage her diaper or her clothes. She is also in a "no" phase, so even at music class when I ask her to do something, she looks me square in the eye and says "no!". We're all in this one together, so please don't think you are the only one!!!
((((HUGS!!!))))
I definitely feel overwhelmed many days! Katie Anne went through a really rough period for the week or so after her birthday, and I thought, "Was turning 2 like flipping a switch?!" Luckily, she's moderately better now, but that week was like ten tantrums a day!
