It's been a fun couple of days. Yesterday I wanted to take Miranda to Kid City and my friends, Mike, Nicki and their daughter Arali, came with. That was a blast. Miranda loves that place. It's a place for her to just run, play and socialize. There are few rules that I have to enforce there. I snapped a couple of pictures to share.

Then it was home for lunch and nap and the whole routine.
And now, it's time for a few Miranda-isms because I've finally started writing them down to remember to share them. :)
Adam is building Miranda a train table for Christmas and she knows about it. So when she wakes up in the morning now and Adam isn't here she tells me "Daddy is working. He's building me a train table." She officially thinks her daddy's JOB is building her a train table. Too cute.
Nicki brought Melora upstairs with her today to go get Miranda up from nap. On the way back down the stairs Miranda said "Hi Mommy!" and Melora copied her. Miranda immediately snapped back "No Melora, that's not your mommy!" hehe
The other day Miranda was running around the house naked after a bath and Adam said to her "You're naked!" She looks right at him and says "No I'm not, I'm Miranda!" Smart@$$...
Today I decided to take Miranda to the library, just her and I. That is one of her favorite places to be and I love that it's less than 5 minutes a way. She loves the computer games they have there. But most of the time there isn't a computer available to use. So, we ended up going home and I let her go on Kidoz for a while. She's still learning to use the mouse but she's getting there. She ended up finding the Nick Jr. Radio and dancing the afternoon away. :)
Also, Miranda's newest obsession is coloring. She LOVES to color and can spend hours with some crayons and her coloring books. Trying to take them away usually results in an epic fit. But, she can't color all the time.
Tonight Miranda did not earn her dessert but she had no issues watching Adam and I eat our bowls of ice cream and not getting any. It's nice to know that she accepts the rules and the consequences of not following them. :)

I am kind of thankful that Thanksgiving is over with. I love the holiday but man oh man, I'm going to be full for the next year. :)
Thanksgiving #2 was awesome, even if Adam couldn't join us because he had to work. Tom and Sherri made an awesome meal. Miranda had a great time playing with Sherri's niece and nephew. I ended up bathing her and putting her to bed there thinking that I would just hang out for a little while and then go to bed. It ended up that Kevin and I spent the night there because I had a little bit too much wine to drive. We had a blast playing card and trivia games.
Saturday morning we drove home. I hopped in the shower and we got ready to go to Grammy Tenan's for Thanksgiving #3. That was a ton of fun and the dinner was delicious. I do love seeing and spending time with family that I don't see that often. It's very nice.
Pictures are up on Facebook, Photobucket and there are a couple new videos up on my YouTube. Here are a couple of my favorites though.
Pile of cousins!

I hope everyone had a very Happy Thanksgiving yesterday! I know I did.
We went over Adam's dad's house for breakfast. Eggs, bacon, English muffins and kishka (yuck). Miranda had a blast watching the parade. She tried to dance like the women on TV it was cute.
She loved to color too. She's so cute when she colors now. She's starting to hold the crayon properly now and she concentrates so hard. She knows now that she has to actually try and color the pictures on the paper in. She picks the smallest things though to color in. It's just so cute. I got a couple of pictures of her doing that. :)
I decided to run her home for nap time though. I thought it would be best if I took her home to her own bed. She napped until quarter after 3 and then we went right back over to Grampy's. Thanksgiving Dinner was so yummy. It was nice to spend the day with good family. I am so thankful for that.
Today is Thanksgiving #2. We're going to go over to my brother's house in a little while. He's hosting it there today. I'm excited to see my side of the family and hang out over there. Unfortunately, Adam has to work today and then he has poker tonight. Luckily, his dad is going to help us out financially so that we can get through this rough month. I'm thinking once Adam's paychecks and per diam start coming in we'll do much better.
Tomorrow we're going to Grammy and Grampy Tenan's for Thanksgiving #3. I LOVE Grammy's cooking. It's delicious! My favorite is her pecan pie though. Yum!
So, be on the look out for pictures soon. I still have the butterfly museum on my camera too. Pretty much all of November. lol
